Mavo
Mavo is a coffee scale designed for pour over and espresso brewing. A gravity sensing system detects the orientation of the device and rotates the screen, so portrait mode suits pour over methods and landscape mode fits on espresso machines. The colour TFT screen shows weight, time and brew ratio, and provides guidance for each brewing mode. A precision load sensor and a split weighing platform support a measuring range from 0.1 g to 2 kg. The body is made of ABS and the insulating pad is made of food-grade silicone.
Mavo Coffee Scale by Guangzhou Qunshan Coffee Co.,Ltd. has been selected as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mavo Coffee Scale was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Home Appliances Design in 2026. The A' Home Appliances Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates outstanding design of refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, ovens, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners and more.
